Worcester garage opens online tool store with Typo3 CMS solution from Accentika Internet

Worcester garage adds facility to buy professional tools via new ecommerce module.

Worcester's Mobile Mechanic has added an online tool store to its existing CMS web site. The ecommerce store, which allows customers to order tools and pay by credit card, has been added as a dedicated site on its own web address (www.do-a-deal-dave.co.uk). Content management specialist Accentika Internet, with offices in Worcester and Birmingham, built the new application onto the original web site which it also built and supports.

The new site and the existing site (www.worcestersmobilemechanics.co.uk) are both managed from the same single administration area allowing all content to be updated at the same time and enabling easy cross-referencing of content across both sites. All content can be updated directly by Worcester's Mobile Mechanic or by WMM's content managers.

Tools are categorised into categories and subcategories or can be found using an intelligent free-text search. Tool pictures can be expanded for detail viewing using the store's built-in lightbox display.
