Setting up payment processing for your ecommerce store

If you wish to use PayPal for processing your web site payments, you will need to set up a PayPal account. Although we can do most things for you, you need to do this yourself to accept PayPal's terms and conditions.

You can start the process here: https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/online and click on the "Get Started" button on the Website Payments Standard option.

Fees are summarised here... https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/fees

There are no setup fees associated with this account. You pay a percentage of each transaction to cover the cost.

Click on "See a full breakdown of seller fees."

After sign up, please supply us with your username and password details so we can configure for payment and test.

(The equivalent signup page for SagePay for example is here: https://support.sagepay.com/apply/). You can change your password and access details when we have completed our testing. If you need advice on the best payment processor for your business we can advise.
