"More sales than eBay" claim by Accentika Internet ecommerce customer

"More sales than eBay" is not a headline we get to write very often. So we were delighted when one of our ecommerce customers told us that yesterday they had more sales through their web site store then they did through their eBay store.

David Connellan began operating an on-line store to sell his Do-A-Deal-Dave hand tools and garage equipment relatively recently. He was already an established eBay seller with a healthy business when he asked Accentika Internet to create him an ecommerce site. We designed and built a site using the Typo3 content management system, configured as an on-line store, listing all his tools and equipment and processing credit card payments via PayPal. Over the months we have carried out on-site search engine optimisation of the store and have also regularly updated the site on behalf of Do-A-Deal-dave.  

Sales have been improving and today we had the good news from David that he... "had more sales through the website than I had from eBay." (See our testimonials for full details).
